Clouds at PSA Port... Seeing these huge containers and ships makes me feel so small |
Entering Sentosa |
Entered Sentosa, en route to Sentosa Cove |
Blue skies, clear water, sea breeze....and so many yachts! |
Another angle to show the same blue skies and yachts |
Even the pedestrian lights look nice than us...and even the walkway looks more expensive |
So many yachts docking.... |
I might have trespassed into the residences to take this shot |
While "trespassing", I found this "secret hideout" where there was carpet-like grass and a mini lake (?). It looked like the perfect spot to sit under a tree and daydream. |
These were the residences that overlooked the "lake". Imagine the view they wake up to everyday... |
Even their recycling corner looks neater and cleaner than the ones we see around HDBs. The bins are rested against a textured brick wall which makes it look interesting. |
From the residences, I ventured towards the coastline where I was greeted by coconut tree, deep blue waters and rocks. |
This looks closest to my point of view, see the trees and the rocks frame up the sea so nicely? |
I could only hear the waves lapping against shore so I decided to take a look. |
Okay, walking back to the restaurant friendly parts! |
For my journey, I ventured out to Sentosa Cove - a tranquil and peaceful place in the eastern part of Sentosa island.
It was a cloudy day and I was just in time to see the sun set. People were walking their dogs or splashing around in the pool. The sea breeze made the leaves of the trees rustle, the sort of nonstop rustling you only hear at beaches. Walking around the coastline, you could even smell the faint scent of saltwater. It was really calming and therapeutic.
Hearing the sound of waves lapping onto the rocks, and the sound of the birds cawing, I felt like I was in another country instead of my own, because in Singapore, you can hardly visit beaches that are these quiet that you can hear everything that is going on.
I also noticed the clouds were different, they were puffier and rounder than usual, and they decorated the sky beautifully. There was a lot of greenery at Sentosa Cove, and they all seemed more expensive and much more healthier than "mainland Singapore". Take for example the grass along the coastline, it looked so much like carpet and I was so tempted to sit on it under a coconut tree.
